BIOGRAPHY Jacqueline Kalimunda was born in Kigali, Rwanda 31 years ago and lived in numerous countries before settling in Paris. After graduating in business and in history she started working first in production then as
an editor for 7 years on documentaries (with
Jean Xavier de Lestrade on The justice of men…)
and on short and middle lenght feature films. Homeland is the conclusion of a long project
started when she was researching images of
Rwanda for her graduation thesis with historians Jean Pierre Chrétien and Hélène d’Almeida Topor.
